I received a notice of the party for Matlack. I wish I had found it out sooner as we are heading that way on vacation the week of Memorial day. This has been planned for awhile, and Phyllis is going to have her cataracts taken out the 10th of June and the 24th. She goes into pre op treatment starting the 8th so we cannot be there. If this will be again next year, I will definitely try to make it.

Hi Ray---hope everyone has an enjoyable time at the party. It's nice that you all get together. Something good did come of Matlack, didn't it? Tell everyone I said "hi". I quite often think of the people I had contact with during my Matlack years. We are heading back to our trailer on Saturday, situated outside of Sea Isle City in Ocean View. I now spend about six months of the year there, enjoying relaxation and growing older. Enjoying life.

Ray,
... I am certain that (again) I won't be able to make it to your get together. A few weeks ago I was notified that I was involuntarily recalled to active duty for a year ISO current ops. I am currently stationed at Scott AFB, IL. We hope I will be released prior to completing the entire year of service but it is doubtful I will be back in PA by June.
Best of luck, and, as always, please pass on my warmest regards to everyone from the old Matlack crew.
